Who We Are

We are a local group of Christians who are committed to serving the Lord and one another. Our primary purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ, disciple His people, and proclaim His truth. We are characterized by corporate worship, expository preaching, missions and evangelism, discipleship, prayer, and fellowship. We seek to be Christ-centered in all that we are and do. We desire to live as lights in the community while recognizing that we are strangers and pilgrims in the world. We emphasize the importance of bringing the truth of God to bear upon every aspect of our life.

A summary of our beliefs can be found in our Statement of Faith.  We affirm many of the historically reformed, Calvinistic, and Baptist doctrines, and we firmly hold to the Biblical truth that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed in the Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.  Additionally, our doctrinal position is closely aligned with the 1646 London Baptist Confession of Faith. However, we do not believe any document authored by man is complete or sufficient regarding truth. Ultimately, we hold only to Scripture as the authority for all matters of faith and practice.  Additionally, a description of our position regarding membership in the local church can be found in the Church Membership document.

It is important to note that an element of our Sunday gatherings for worship is an expectation of participation by all believers. We emphasize the priesthood of all believers and as such give opportunity for all Christians to present their spiritual sacrifices and offerings to the Lord. Typically, this is represented by a song or hymn request, sharing a passage of Scripture that has been a blessing during the week, or even a prayer request or praise to the Lord. Our worship times are ordered, reverential, and led by an elder, but they are not intended to be a gathering of spectators who focus upon an individual or worship leaders.

We welcome you to contact us for more information. May Jesus Christ be magnified, worshipped, and praised among us!
