Statement of Faith

1. There is One true and living God, infinite and eternal in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the only inspired and infallible record of the revelation of God to man and are the supreme authority in all matters of life and faith.

3. God’s acts of creation, and not evolution, are responsible for the origin of all things, and creation according to the Biblical record consists of six, 24-hour days.

4. God's providence is that whereby He upholds the universe, governs the world, supplies the needs of His creatures and brings His will to pass in all things. God is sovereign over all, including creation, providence and redemption.

5. Man was created in the image and likeness of God, without sin, to have dominion over the earth and to do all things to the glory of God.

6. God instituted marriage to be between one man and one woman, for their mutual comfort and benefit and for the duration of their life.

7. Mankind became sinful by nature through Adam’s transgression. He and his posterity are subsequently under guilt, depravity, judgement and condemnation. Thus, all people are unable to save themselves from their own sin, misery, and just wrath of God.

8. Jesus Christ, is the only begotten Son of the Father; He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified as a ransom for many, died, was buried, was resurrected from the dead and ascended into Heaven in the same body in which He was crucified; He is presently at the right hand of God the Father interceding for His elect, and will personally return to earth in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

9. Through the preaching of the gospel, all men everywhere and without exception are called to faith and trust in Jesus Christ in order to be saved, and God, according to His own plan from all eternity, has purposed to save, and will save, His elect people from their sinful condition.

10. An individual is saved by God's grace alone, through faith alone, and not because of any work or qualification of the individual. To each of them, God imputes the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

11. The work of the Holy Spirit is necessary to apply the benefits of Christ’s redemption to individual sinners, working in them regeneration, faith, repentance, sanctification and glorification.

12. The Holy Spirit indwells the believer beginning at regeneration and enables the believer more and more to die unto sin, live unto righteousness, and joy in Jesus Christ.

13. There will be a bodily resurrection of all mankind. Those who have rejected Christ being raised to everlasting ruin in Hell and those who have by faith trusted in Christ, unto everlasting glory in Heaven.

14. There is one holy, universal Church, the Body of Christ, to which all God’s redeemed people belong and in which they are united through the Spirit.

15. There are only two ordinances for the Church. These are baptism and communion (also referred to as the Lord's Supper). Baptism is properly administered by immersion.
